Theopolis Vineyards, a boutique winery in California's prestigious Yorkville Highlands, was established in 2003 in the rugged interior of Anderson Valley. Wine Critic Robert Parker awarded the inaugural 2006 harvest a remarkable 94-96 points. Owner Theodora R. Lee, known as Theo-patra, Queen of the Vineyards, a dynamic Texan lawyer, now produces award-winning wines, including a rich Petite Sirah, Rosé of Petite Sirah, Symphony white wine, and Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley, Yorkville Highlands, and Santa Lucia Highlands.

Theodora Lee, also known as Theo-patra, Queen of the Vineyards, founded Theopolis Vineyards in 2003 after taking viticulture classes at UC Davis and purchasing land in Anderson Valley's Yorkville Highlands. She's been featured in publications like Forbes, Wine Enthusiast, and Essence, and has made guest appearances on various TV and radio shows. In addition to her winemaking, Ms. Lee is a lawyer, settlement commissioner, arbitrator, and mediator, and she's actively involved in various charitable and community organizations. She's a Spelman College and University of Texas School of Law graduate with previous experience as a Senate intern in Washington, D.C., working for Senator Sam Nunn.
