Liquid Farm was founded in 2009 to craft California wines inspired by the elegance and restraint of Old World styles. The project began with four barrels of Chardonnay from Sta. Rita Hills, which evolved into the now-signature White Hill and Golden Slope bottlings. Focused on high-acid, terroir-driven wines, Liquid Farm works with select vineyard partners across Santa Barbara County. The lineup now includes Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, rosé of Mourvèdre, and méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine made in collaboration with a Grand Cru grower in Champagne.
Liquid Farm’s winemaking philosophy centers on expressing place with minimal intervention, allowing the natural character of the Sta. Rita Hills to shine through. They focus on low-alcohol, high-acid wines, using native yeasts, neutral oak, and no additives or manipulation. Chardonnay is their cornerstone, crafted from multiple vineyard sites to reflect a house style marked by minerality and salinity. Every decision—from cork to capsule—is made with transparency and sustainability in mind.
